Does anyone know of the song about the Mexican Desperato?

I went to school in Cobb County, Georgia back in the early sixties.
There at McEachern Elementary (now only a high school) we learned the
song, "Mexican Desperato". I have not heard the song since and have
forgotten the words. I do remember some high school band members
singing the song for me when I was traveling back from a football game
with the Band; My aunt was a band director then.

If anyone knows anyone from the area at that time, I would like to get
the words to that song, and also, thank that wonderful high school
band from 1960-61 for playing such wonderful music while I was there.
