Benderspink options 'New West'

Benderspink is going to "The Brand New West," optioning Black Bull Media's graphic novel. The feature adaptation is going to be created by Benderspink and Black Bull Media principal Gareb Shamus. Comicbook, released in 2005, was composed by Jimmy Palmiotti and highlighted by Phil Noto. Story focuses on a explosive device creating an electromagnetic pulse that triggers all technology to prevent employed in La. A disgraced former LAPD detective endures a near-future deserted hostile atmosphere in which the mayor continues to be kidnapped. Benderspink's creating Paramount's family actioner "Jitters," with Mike Mitchell onboard to direct, and it is being produced on "Burt Wonderstone," starring Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi and Jim Carrey.
